Return and Cancelling Policies

We understand it is important for you to order a dress for the special occasion and we will make our best efforts to make sure all the customers satisfied with the dresses shipped to them. So all the products sold from forbridesmaid.com are covered by the policy of 30 days return and exchange. However, it is important to note that our dresses are made to order; the size is made according to your measurements and also the materials cannot be reused once the creation process has begun. The good news is that after placing your order, there is still time to change your mind. Please refer to the details about our cancellation and return policies below. Cancelling Orders (Before delivery)

  • 1.  All dress orders canceled within 24 hours of purchase will be eligible for a full refund.
  • 2.  All dress orders canceled after 24 hours will be eligible for a 25% partial refund.
  • 3. Once your order has been shipped, it can no longer be cancelled.

We regard your satisfaction to be our priority. When you received the package, we encourage you to check and make sure that the dress had been made to your order specifications. Try on your dress as soon as possible without moving the tags, altering, or washing the dress.

If you want to return or exchange dresses, please contact our customer service first and state the reason of return request. Please make sure dresses are in the original conditions-unworn, unwashed, unaltered, and undamaged with original tags and packages. Please provide the order details in the return package.

Return Policy

Our Customer Service Team has the right to determine the eligibility for refunds and exchanges once customers have contacted us and explained their reason for return. Please node all return request must applied in 5 days after the dress delivered.

All returns must be sent within 30 days of the shipment being received. We only accept items in their original condition - unworn, unwashed, unaltered, and undamaged with original tags and packages. Requests to return items due to quality issues, damage during shipping, color/style/size error or allergic reaction from use must be accompanied by photos or other evidence that clearly shows the problem with the item received. We reserve the right to charge a handling fee on all items returned for other reasons.

If we shipped you the wrong item: You have the option of 1) exchanging it for the correct item, or 2) returning it for a full refund. Customers must confirm their eligibility for an exchange or return with Customer Service before sending items back.

If we shipped you an item in the wrong color: You are eligible for a full refund. (Perceived color difference due to the display settings of your computer monitor are not grounds for a refund).

Please note a refund will be issued for the purchase price, less the shipping charge.

All orders for fabric samples, fabric yardage, and special custom dress, altered dress are final.

Quality Issues:

  • 1. If we find that the product is defective against described including style error, color error, damaged or wrong items shipped, you will receive a refund for the purchase price or receive a new correct dress.
  • 2.  If we find that the merchandise is not defective in any way or has been misused, then the merchandise will be shipped back to you with no refund.

Size Errors:

Please be aware that due to the nature of the handwork required, the finished gown may vary approximately 1" in either direction of specified measurements. If the dress size did not arrive in the specification as one ordered:

  • 1. All dresses are made or come with margins for altering and tailoring if desired. One can choose to make the adjustments at a local tailor, in which case we will reimburse the tailoring costs as long as the costs does not exceed the original price of the dress by 50%. If the tailoring costs exceed the original price of the dress by 50%, we will reimburse only up to the amount equal to 50% of the dress's original cost.
  • 2. We provide a modification service for our customers, who can send back the dress to us and get the dress modified within 7 working days.
  • 3. Customers can also return a dress with measurement errors, and will receive a refund for the purchase price.

Errors caused due to customers' own specification:

If the error of unfitting regarding size/color that were made or specified by customers during purchasing our products:

  • 1. The customers will not be eligible for refunds under this case.
  • 2. However we can provide a size modification service to our customers for free, with customers only pay the shipping fee. A dress modification is normally done in 7 working days. Please contact the customer service before you sending back the dress for alternations. All the size alternations just can across 2 sizes (i.e. Size 4 dress can be altered to size 2 or size 6.)

Color Mismatch

The settings of your computer screen may alter the color of the pictures shown on forbridesmaid.com which are not covered by the policy of 30 days return and exchange. And also our cancelling policy is in accordance with this.

Slight color mismatches between the color of your dress and the color shown on screen may not mean that the dress is defective or mis-shipped. However, if you are confident that you have received the item in a wrong color, please contact Customer Service to see if a return or refund is possible.
